George Webster letter, 1862 December 30.

Webster, who served with a Pennsylvania regiment, wrote this letter to Henry (no last name) from New Bern, North Carolina. He mentioned that he was brigaded with the 10th Connecticut and three other units. Most importantly, he described the coastal operations and occupation of New Bern. He reported that there were three battles, with 11 killed and 21 wounded from his Regiment.
